Child Dedications

Dedicating children to God involves parents presenting their child to the congregation and seeking divine guidance and support as they embark on their journey of parenthood. During the dedication, the congregation prays for the child's future, health, and spiritual growth, while also committing to support and nurture the child. Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a Godly way, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God. Child dedications serve as a public affirmation of the parents' faith and a celebration of the congregation's role in the child’s upbringing, marking the beginning of a journey shared with a supportive and caring community.
